I enjoyed my stay at Ryad Laarouss, which had a fantastic location in the Medina and offered a glimpse into beautiful Moroccan architecture. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making my experience enjoyable. However, I faced some issues like the intermittent water pressure and an unfunctional TV, which slightly hampered my stay.

The hotel had a lovely rooftop with stunning views and a nice pool, even though I didn’t swim due to the chilly water; I can imagine it's perfect in summer.

My stay at Ryad Laarouss was truly wonderful. The atmosphere was authentic and full of charm, though I found parking a bit challenging. The staff, especially Soufian and Oualid, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home. The breakfast was good, but I wished there could have been more options, like an egg dish.

My stay at Ryad Laarouss was a mixed experience. The location was fantastic, being close to the main square but still quiet. However, I faced issues like limited breakfast options and some maintenance problems in the room. Overall, it had potential but needed improvements.

Rooms

The room was cozy with AC, which was great for the chilly February nights. However, it could have used some maintenance as there was no real ventilation in the bathroom, making it feel damp and gloomy.
Service

The staff were welcoming and always willing to help, which I appreciated. But, upon arrival, my room wasn't ready, and I felt that should have been managed better.
Location
7.0
The location was excellent, just a short distance from Jemaa el-Fnaa square and surrounded by great food and snack stands. It was perfect for exploring while still being in a quieter neighborhood.
Dining

Breakfast was pretty limited with just one egg, a pancake, and coffee, which I felt was underwhelming for the price I paid.
Facilities

The facilities had potential, but the rooftop hammocks were not well-maintained and felt dirty. I think it's important to keep these areas inviting for guests.

I enjoyed my stay at Ryad Laarouss, as it is a beautiful and authentic riad that reflects Moroccan style. The stunning terraces provided a lovely view of the Koutoubia mosque and the call to prayer added to the ambiance. However, I faced some inconveniences that slightly overshadowed the positives. The room’s maintenance could be improved.

Rooms

The Superior Double Room was comfortable, but there were issues with cleanliness. The bathroom needed more attention. I appreciated the AC being functional, which helped during warmer moments.
Service

Service was hit or miss; Oualid was really good with his attentiveness, always ready to help, but the overall room preparation left something to be desired. I had to ask multiple times for basic amenities like toilet paper.
Location

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the main square and close to attractions like the Majorelle Garden. This made exploring the vibrant surroundings quite easy.
Dining

Breakfast was decent, but it could have offered more variety. The pancakes were tasty, yet there was a lack of options overall. I expected a little more given the pricing.

Ryad Laarouss had some notable facilities like room service and airport shuttle, but they need to enhance the cleanliness and maintenance of shared areas and room amenities.

I had a mixed experience during my five nights at Ryad Laarouss. While the hotel had a lovely traditional Moroccan feel and was clean and comfortable, there were aspects that left room for improvement. The location was fantastic, just a short distance from Jemaa el-Fnaa, and I appreciated the friendly service from the staff. However, my initial room experience was less than ideal.

Rooms

The mini suite was clean and comfortable, though I had a rocky start with a gloomy room initially. I later received a room with a pleasant decor, but improvements could be made in overall maintenance.
Service

The staff were welcoming and always eager to help. Particularly, Oualid stood out for his efforts to assist when I had a room issue. However, the initial delay in getting the room I reserved was disappointing.
